About Alannah

Alannah works with children aged 13 years+, young people and adults. She has a special interest in working with children, adolescents and young adults with ADHD, and is able to offer clients both treatment & assessments.

Alannah is a trauma-informed provisional psychologist with experience supporting children, teens, and adults through a range of mental health challenges. Her approach is gentle, collaborative, and person-centered—focused on helping clients navigate issues like emotional regulation, trauma, interpersonal conflict, and mental health concerns.

She creates a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, build resilience, and work toward lasting wellbeing. Alannah integrates mindfulness, self-acceptance, and body awareness into her practice, tailoring each session to meet the unique psychological and physical needs of her clients.

As a neurodivergent-affirming practitioner, Alannah celebrates individual differences and works with clients to identify personal goals and supportive strategies that highlight their strengths.

Alannah has been running Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) group sessions since October 2025. These sessions are small groups of 3-4 people and focus on teaching practical strategies to manage overwhelming emotions, strengthen communication and build greater self-awareness.
